Delete Your Cloud Account

Not a Bad Life users can delete a cloud account and the personal information associated with it from within the App or by contacting Auspex Labs Inc.

Delete Your Account in the App

  1. Open Not a Bad Life.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Delete Cloud Account.
  4. Review the deletion notice and confirm your request.

Request Deletion Without the App

Email contact@auspex-labs.com from the email address associated with your account. Use the subject "Delete My Not a Bad Life Account." If you cannot email from that address, identify the account address in your message. We may ask for additional information to verify that you control the account.

You may also call +1 540-860-0772 for assistance. Email is required to complete identity verification and provide confirmation.

What Deletion Covers

Deleting a cloud account deletes or deidentifies the following information from active Auspex systems:

  • the Not a Bad Life cloud account and account identifiers;
  • the email address associated with the account;
  • journal entries backed up to the account; and
  • daily good-or-bad ratings backed up to the account.

Information stored only on your device is not held by Auspex and is not affected by cloud-account deletion. Delete local entries in the App or remove the App and its local data through your device settings.

We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Limited encrypted copies may remain in protected backups until those backups are overwritten under normal schedules. We do not use retained information for advertising or unrelated purposes.

Confirmation

We will confirm receipt of an external request and notify you when deletion is complete. If we need more information to verify or complete the request, we will contact the account email address.
